Tips on Fundraising

Step 1: download a pledge form

Step 2: Set a goal

Step 3: Share!

  • Let everyone know you’re signed up to raise money to send kids to camp and if you’re posting to social pages use hashtags! We would love to cheer you on!
  • Challenge a friend to raise pledges and do the dip with you! Maybe you have a friendly competition to see who raises the most
  • Bring your pledge form to work or church
  • Tell those you talk to why you want others to have a chance to go to camp!

Come and take the plunge

If you are brave enough, then come and take the plunge!

Our annual Polar Bear Dip is one way you can help send kids to camp and it's a refreshing and fun way to begin the New Year!

Every child deserves to go to camp and we work hard to make camp accessible for all, but we need your help to make it happen! All money raised from this event will go to the camper sponsorship fund which makes camp possible for children whose families would otherwise not be able to afford to send them.

The cost for 'dippers' is $35 which gets you a fun experience of a lifetime! Or you can fundraise with our pledge sheet.

Our team cuts the hole through the ice for all our dippers, the first 150 dippers registered get an exclusive t-shirt and we have loads of cheerleaders for you... not to mention hot chocolate, coffee, and cinnamon buns to warm you up after!

Spectators attend FREE. So bring out as many friends as you can to cheer you on and support you in helping send kids to camp.

Awesome prizes are given for the 3 people who raise the most money and for the 3 best dressed costumes!!

Did we mention the delicious hot chocolate, coffee and fresh cinnamon buns? We did?! Well, I guess it's worth repeating: hot chocolate, coffee and fresh cinnamon buns will be provided for dippers and spectators.

Tips for a great dip

  • Bring sandals or crocs for standing on the ice!
  • Don’t wear a wetsuit or drysuit! They aren’t allowed!
  • Don’t dive in! This is unsafe and will be a heavily enforced rule!

Things to Bring

  • A bag for wet clothes
  • A bag for dry clothes
  • Two towels - one to stand on, one to dry off
  • Sandals or crocs
  • A costume if you want!
